Considering he just joined today and this is his first post, he is clearly serious. He's also clearly being a troll.

Even so, you'd think he'd at least come back and try to clarify his position.

So your issue with the new series is that it will feature characters that are cast with the best actor for the job, regardless of race or gender, and LGBT character(s)?

You want it to be more like the original Star Trek?

You know, the one that featured a black woman, a Japanese man, a Russian (at the height of the Cold War) and an alien, all in senior bridge positions?

The one that had the first interracial kiss on US network television?

I'm imagining it would be some combo of a John Wayne flick and an episode of 7th Heaven in space. His favorite episode is probably "Turnabout Intruder"...

 

I dunno. A post Nemesis series seems at least as likely as Discovery to have teh gheys. Better cancel any potential future Star Trek, just to be safe. All TV in general, for that matter.
