Assignment:Earth Isis identity!

Recently I asked Victoria Vetri if she really was the cat girl seen at the end of the Assignment:Earth episode and through her representative she has denied that that is her despite being credited for the part! I'm wondering if anyone on here would know who the real lady was on the couch and why Victoria got the credit instead of the proper actress?

In fact, Victori Vetri was never credited for the part. The part was uncredited. What happened was that some guy on the Internet made an uncertain guess that Vetri might've been Isis due to a vague resemblance and the fact that she was in Playboy around the right time, but he admitted that it was unconfirmed speculation (and it obviously isn't Vetri, because the actress has a different eye color and lacks the distinctive speck of pigment that Vetri has on the white of one of her eyes). Then some negligent IMDb editor ignored all that and put it down as fact, and a bunch of other sources unquestioningly assumed IMDb was correct and repeated the mistake.

If you've actually heard from Vetri, it'd be great if you had an actual statement from her in writing that you could put out there somehow to debunk this myth.

As for who actually played Isis, that remains a mystery.

Well it came through her friend Randy because as we know Victoria is in the nick at the moment! But she did get my message about the episode apparently!

She was in the final episode of Land of The giants though even if it was screened next to last!

Vetri's Wikipedia page currently lists her as Isis, obviously going from the imdb error.

That, Miss Lincoln, is not my cat.

But the resemblance is striking:

Edit: We should call this the Isis Identity Crisis.

She starred in one of the greatest soft porn movies of all time, "Invasion of the Bee Girls" (written of course by Nick Meyer). THAT'S what you should be asking her about, JB!

How can this be? Cash Markman says it's her in his junky book! ;)

Once an erroneous piece of data makes it onto the internet, it's almost impossible to eradicate. And, yes, the internet is notoriously bad at distinguishing speculation, rumor, and fact.

"But it says so on Wikipedia!"

Although, inevitably, somebody will throw IMDB back at you.

Years ago, a publishing catalog accidentally listed an author's agent as their co-author instead. The error was fixed almost immediately, but kept popping up in on-line databases for YEARS thereafter . .. .

The shape of the nose is slightly different.

Aren't the production's call sheets and other paperwork available somewhere to resolve this? I've seen them in various places, documenting answers to such questions.

Maybe somebody could kindly check the UCLA archives, if anybody might happen to be in that area in the near future?

Production files for the episode (incl. call sheet) have been examined (see here) and do not provide the answer to this particular question.

And the mouth is a different shape, and the eyes are a different color. I could go on. But I won't. They're two different women, of course.
