I and two others have been trying to get in contact with someone, anyone, who can and or will get us in touch with someone inside Star Trek/Paramount s but we keep running into the TREK INPENITRABLE WALL - they don't let outsiders in like Rodeberry did. What happened to them? Why are they so closed off?

We're just about able to grasp the idea that our favorite franchises are fictional constructs beholden to real-world limitations, so that might free up your time.

But as much as we appreciate your encyclopedic knowledge of nearly every piece of television, radio, and film, might I suggest that you get a feel for things like "Maybe I shouldn't assume that I have to explain and define things to a near molecular level to everyone I meet" or even "It might be possible that every conversation ISN'T a chance for me to insert a rant about my pet peeves."

Wow, the line between "obnoxiously prolific" and "prolifically obnoxious" is a thin one, isn't it? I've found it hard to keep up with your posts even from just the past couple of days. I appreciate the way in which you are generous with your time--no point of debate is too minor, no topic without a pet peeve of yours, which you graciously take the time to dispel. Your bravery in calling out stereotypes is inspiring!
