You mean all the live-action Spider-Man movies. Which is leaving out the two best ones.

I'd consider going to see at least one or two of them if there weren't so many new things coming out.

According to (alleged) new James Bond, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, "We’ve all had enough of Studios churning out stuff that dilutes wanting to go to the Cinema."

    Sorry, let me fix that.

According to star of the next Sony non-Spider-Man Spider-Man movie, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, "We’ve all had enough of Studios churning out stuff that dilutes wanting to go to the Cinema."

The second bit is understandably, but it's kind of hard to argue that the James Bond series is churning out installments. NTTD was shot in 2019 and was scheduled for release in Spring 2020 and was only delayed because of COVID. So, the producers have been done working on the last Bond film for almost five years now, but they haven't announced anything about the next Bond, aside from saying that there will be a next Bond.

The Bond series is one blockbuster franchise that definitely isn't churning 'em out.

Considering that Sony has shown that they are incapable of even understanding how to make a superhero that can generate satisfactory revenues (Venom is the lucky exception), do we want to try to bet on how Kraven will go? Do you think it's DOA?

My bet is: Higher than MW but lower than Morbius.

“From the studios that brought you… um… movies.”

Stupid question: we more or less know who makes the creative decisions at Marvel Studio and Warner for superhero movies, but at Sony?

I googled it, and it seems it's not sure if he was or not involved in MW.

I don't think it's stupid (i have asked it before)... and i don't know, but would love to know... and can we go over it again for Marvel & DC?

Well, Marvel, Kevin Feige, for sure, just like Dave Filoni now at Star Wars

For the DCOU, we know it is James Gunn and Peter Safran now , David Zaslav with the money, who set general parameters for them, and had determined that the DCFU was not worth continuing.... But who was "in charge" of the DCFU? As i recall, it was supposed to be director driven (as opposed to Marvel's Central Producer - driven)... but it seemed like Zack Snyder had an overweighted control of that universe... where he definitely should have been in the room, but others should have been able to counteract or refine him as needed. Geoff Johns was supposedly Chief Creative Officer, but it seems like he was routinely ignored .

For Sony... the only name that comes to mind is Amy Pascal, but i am totally unsure what her role is.

If it was made by WB I'd suggest that they switch Kraven out with either Batgirl, Scoob! Holiday Haunt or Coyote vs ACME, since all of those probably have more of a chance of being successful than Kraven does.

If it were made by WB, Zaslav would have already shelved it for a tax write-off.

Its gotten to the point that Sony being willing to release the movies they make puts them ahead of WB/DC by default, regardless of the quality of the movies. As bad as they are, once they've been filmed I'd rather have a movie come out then not, if for the people who worked on the movie and deserve credit if nothing else.

Wow, I don't think I've ever agreed this strongly with something you've said before. I really feel bad for the people who put so much work into the shelved movies, only to have the public never actually get to see them. The most baffling one for me is Coyote vs ACME, since everybody who's seen has absolutely loved it.
