Zune Question

Ok, I've been listening to it for about eight hours now and when I plug it in to the laptop, it says I only have 14 "plays". Same as 24 hours ago. Shouldn't this update the more I use the device?
Does it say that on the Zune or the Zune software?

I was under the impression this would update as I play more songs. It's listing stuff from 14 hours ago but nothing since then.

It should update that. Have you signed on to Zune's boards and all that?

I'm not getting any answers, everyone is talking about the HD models and there is very little support going on at the moment.
Well if that's the only problem now, that ain't all that bad. 
Umm dude for this problem, i have no idea what to tell you. Maybe reinstall the Zune software. I don't know.

Reinstalling the software now, and most of the artists I listen to are in the database... Going to try a few things with the MP3 tagging to see if that help. Let ya'll know shortly.

Ok it's working. I blasted the Zune, the Software and my Account and started over again. Woot. 
The more news that comes out for the Zune HD the more I'm getting excited for it. There's a reporting saying that on August 23rd select markets (incluidng Minneapolis, yay!) at Best Buys will have it available to look at hands-on and preorder. I'll wait and see what Apple's new iPods look like in September but if it's not much of a difference I may have to buy a Zune HD for my girlfriend to replace her older 4 Gb. second generation iPod nano.
When i was shopping for media players for my BFF for his birthday, i looked at both the Zune 120 and the iPod 120. The Zune had a bigger screen, and simply put, it had more features. So the Zune won.
