Yuengling Bock is Awesome

I'm drunkl, thanks primarily to Yuengling Bock.* This is a most excellent beer. In the Yuengling family it is second only to their porter.

Who else here is a fan of the Yuengling family?

*Lost Coast Brewery's even more excellent 8 Ball Stout may or may not have begun the journey.

Hehe, I remember Yuengling Bock being decent enough. I think the brewery is a novelty and should be respected, but in terms of quality-- it pales in comparison to American breweries like Stone, Great Lakes and Goose Island. Having said that, when I'm home it's not an uncommon beer to stock up on b/ it tends to be a favorite (and it's tastier swill than most in those parts).

To be fair, Yuengling is technically a macrobrewery. So compared to the others (InBev and Miller-Coors), it's far superior. Definitely glad to be on the east coast, where it's easy to obtain and cheap.

I've been meaning to go to the brewery, but I haven't had a chance (and I'll probably go to the Dogfish Head Brewery first).
