Not a real lawyer but a copyright troll... You can make money doing that too but it's risky.

Youtuber from Germany who has done many lets play videos and gameplay videos got letters from a supposed Nintendo lawyer. Some sleuthing later finds out that the lawyer is in fact fake. He even reached out directly to Nintendo itself. The story is quite wild.

They definitely need to change the way copyright strikes are done, and I'm glad he won because now maybe they can find ways to block copyright trolls from making requests.

I'm not sure how the money side of it works but the copyright trolls make a lot of dollars out of their bad behaviour and it should not be rewarded

They definitely shouldn't. They usually go after accounts that have a high subscriber count, and I think that their plan is to claim on behalf of a company like Nintendo. But what I don't understand is how they're able to do a claim so easily, which suggests there might be a way of checking the validity of a claimant.

Well you would think so but obviously there's holes in the system if just anyone claiming to be a lawyer can do this
