Yiddish word that sounds like Klingon

As my mother was preparing Rosh Hashana (Jewish New Year) dinner tonight it struck me how much kreplekh sounds like a klingon word. I can just imagine worf calling someone a kreplekh patak.

Any other words out there that you reckon belong in a star trek aliens vocabulary?

PS - kreplekh is a type of meat dumpling

At work, I use a function to sort files by the date they were last changed; the abbreviation is Sort Cha, which sounds kind of Klingon.

They did a joke with that once on Big Bang Theory. The guys were playing Klingon Boggle, and Howard tried claiming that kreplekh was a Klingon word.
