Someone ptu an ad up incraigs for wii fit program disk and balance board ... obviously used, and so I picked it up. I am a generally thin guy with stringy arms but I've been forming a bit of a potbelly. My dad and my brothers are overweight and I'm used to being thin all over. This pot belly annoys me. I eat a lot of meats but I've reduced my beer intake to "just occassionally."

I'm 3, , male and between 5'7 and 5'8.

So I started using wii fit, any tips on how I should, as a beginner proceed. Also any other ways I can get rid of my potbelly. This is slightly more imprant than imp[roving say, my arm strength..

Also something else you should know. myu wrists and ankles are not the best, and they hurt easily from stress. my wrists I knew about but when the wii fit asked me to do side push ups and alternate my feet, I felt pain in my ankles. In the case of my wrists, when I lift weights, I feel as if the pressure from the weights is not being distrubuted evenly throughout the arm and is instead all the weight is putting stress on a week wrist. Now I'm feeling similar pain with my ankles. How should I proceed. What exercises should or shouldn't I do?

Do the balance games, yoga and aerobics first then. You'll feel most of those in the legs and midsection. After a week or so you'll notice a big difference especially during the body tests.

I'm simply a user of the Fit and have no expertise. Your mileage may vary. :)
