Why can girls blame hormones, but guys can't?

Girls, at certain times of the month, will often (not all girls, but many) be an outright tool, mean, irritable and total bitch and blame it on their hormones and PMS.

But then they also complain about guys being horny all the time.

I mean, that's hormones, too.

Or they blame the pain they're in, but when I get a migraine, am I allowed to be a jackass? No.

Sometimes I'll have a day where I think everyone around me is being a complete idiot and that the whole world is completely unfair to me. On these days, I'm a "delight" as my husband says, and he usually gets the worst of it.

A day later I usually realize how completely awful I've been, and I try to make it up to him. I don't expect a free pass because I was hormonal.
