Where is this Federation space map sourced from?

This is a screengrab from an old, unlicensed freeware Star Trek game, released circa 1989. The game is seemingly set just after TVH, and stars the Enterprise-A. It’s quite highly detailed in its presentation – presumably this space map of the Federation is from an existing piece of Trek media rather than being created by the game’s programmer/designer?

Good grief! I’ve never heard of this game, but if someone made an iPhone app version of it I would be futzing around on it all day.
It does work on Amiga emulators for the PC, I've no idea if there are iPhone emulators out there, though.

Thanks, the star map is from there (if simplified), including the pre-TMP/TWOK/TSFS concept of Starfleet HQ being a saucer shaped station deep in Federation space rather than the Shroomdock base orbiting Earth.

I tried the game again on a MiSTer FPGA device the other day, and noticed the other Starfleet ships encountered in-game are also in the Franz Joseph manual, albeit modified to resemble the design style of the TMP Enterprise and TWOK Reliant.
