What is the worst Star Trek Episode????

pimp

Commander
Red Shirt
Just wanted to say that i think the worst episode in the history of all the star trek series has got to be Threshold ARGH!!!!!! :klingon:

Can you people come up with a worst episode then this????

or perhaps create a list of top 10 worst lol i can think of a few more bad ones but none worst then threshold, i mean what where the writers thinking, shuttles going at warp 10 and bloody humans evolving to lizards, utter madness.

"Fury" :censored:

This episode is just........bad!

Badly written, full of flaws, unbelievable story, unnecessary character destruction and a downright insult to a group of fans.

"Threshold" was at least funny, you could laugh at it.

that is true

The first half of "Threshold" wasn't even that bad which is why I don't consider it the worst episode.
I thought Fury was a mistake but it wasn't that bad to actually watch, obviously shouldn't have been done of course.

Worst for me would have to be "The Fight"-VOY and "Where Silence has Lease"- TNG

Aw, I love Where Silence Has Lease.

These Are the Voyages is pretty crummy, but I don't hate it as much as people who actually liked Enterprise do.

I might pick a TOS outing, Friday's Child. It was the most boring thing I ever watched with the Trek name on it. I just turned it off halfway through.

"A Night in Sickbay"

One of the most painful hours of so-called entertainment I have ever suffered through. My only consolation is that, apparently, the writers and creators of this show hated their own characters as much as I did by the time the credits rolled. There's really no other explanation for such densely packed character assassination.

"Threshold" was certainly icky but it doesn't hold a candle to "This Ain't The Valentine." Managed to pee all over a decent Riker episode (one of too few), insulted the intelligence of the fans, and and made for a really lousy the franchise "finale." :scream:

The Hippie episode from the original series. Crap-ola.

Dawn from Enterprise, also known as the Enemy Mine rip-off. It is perhaps the only time in all Star Trek I actually contemplated turning it off.

Spock's Brain reeked something fierce. I barely remember Threshold, and I guess that's as it should be. :p

You know, as bad as Spock's Brain is, there are much worse episodes in Star Trek. Hell, there are much worse in TOS (And The Children Shall Lead, for example). And I actually have to take a moment and say, I enjoyed Threshold.

Fair haven but i have to say i have not seen a lot of the first 2 seasons of ent.
There seems to be a lot of Voyager episodes in this thread.

I don't think it's a very good episode either, but it's an episode I can enjoy watching more than once just because I love the interaction between DeForest Kelley and Julie Numar. Her calling him "Mah Coy", hitting him every time he tries to touch her stomach, and then them hitting each other before she finally trusts him and lets him be the only who can touch her always cracks me up. I also think it has one of the most delightful endings in the series with McCoy and Kirk teasing Spock. No episode with such cute moments can be all bad.

The worst episodes I can think of off the top of my head are "Plato's Stepchildren", "And the Children Shall Lead", "Skin of Evil", and "Meridian" (to pick one or two to represent each series I watch). Those are the ones that annoyed me so much they made me feel like never watching their respective series ever again. "Year of Hell" was hell to watch and "Endgame" was the beginning of the "endgame" for my Voyager watching. I actually did avoid that series after those episodes. Hooray for obvious puns. :p

I don't think "Shades of Grey" is so bad. It gets all this hate for being a clip show, but it's better to have a show with flimsy, thrown-together interstitial scenes wrapped around clips (some of which are actually good clips from good episodes) rather than a completely original story that's awful from start to finish. People always talk about clip shows like they automatically suck, but I'd rather see a bunch of decent clips than a whole episode that is new and lame. It's like on The Simpsons, fans of the show seem to automatically hate all their clips shows, but because of the quality of the early episodes, the early clip shows are way better than a lot of the crap they've done in the last ten years.
