Hello, I have a website which displays correctly everywhere in the world but on one local network. The website loads correctly in all browsers on all tablets, devices and laptops when tethered to a 4g device, or if a laptop is connected to another local network, a home network for example.
The devices and their software have been eliminated as a source of the website display error. The error is definitely caused by *something* localised to the site.
The website *was* stored on an old off site PLESK server until a month or so ago and had an out of date security certificate before the host transfer, the website has now been moved to another host and has a secure certificate. The domain itself is still hosted and managed on the old infrastructure, however DNS records have been updated for the website to point the domain to the new host so that we could keep the same url without fully transferring the domain (I hope that makes sense!). Mail and all other services are hosted and managed separately from the website (using the same domain) by the service which used to host the website before it was moved and hosted elsewhere.
The website did load correctly for a while, but last week the Firewall was reset after an extended period of internet down time on our site and other sites which are also connected to the domain. When the firewall came back online, the website in question began to load as a text based unformatted html page with no images, layouts or colours etc. No other websites have this problem.
I have spoken to the technical support department and they are blaming the web host, but I think that the problem could be the firewall, perhaps something security certificate related? The website worked fine before the Firewall crash/reset. The Firewall is Fortigate and centrally managed by another party who I am having to deal with as I have no access to the firewall myself.
I am sorry if I am asking a question that answers itself, but I am trying to communicate with a technical support department who will not accept that the firewall is at error? I can bypass and disconnect the firewall, plugging a laptop directly in to the router and the website loads fine.
This is not a parody, I am genuinely having to deal with this situation at the moment so any help or advice would be appreciated just incase it is me who is wrong.
Many thanks in advance.
