I often look up STAR TREK fan art because so much of it is ridiculous and inappropriate, so it makes me laugh. I hope you VOY fans share my enjoyment of fan art and want to show us some of your favourites.

But every now and then, I come across a jewel in the rough - and this is one of them. I was unable to ascertain the identity of the Artist in question, but the initials M_R are indicated at the bottom right-hand corner. I like this piece, which I refer to as "Ragtime," and how it seems so genteel and all that, right? It's very charming. It's also quite large, you'll notice.

Would love to see a female Ghostbusters done Voyager style. I can't photoshop otherwise i'd do it myself.

I never really saw anything of The Muppets, to be honest. I saw this movie once, where there was this grey bald eagle who's kind of bigger than the rest, I remember him. He was all pompous and everything like that. I know who Kermit and his wife Piggy are, but after that, I'm in unknown and unfamiliar territory. I was never really into puppets, as a kid. I remember me mum taking me to marionette shows, when I was a little boy. They would do these classic tales and shit like that, so there is this sort of nostalgia for that form of entertainment. But puppets are always quite stiff and awkward, especially as they're being made to "walk," or whathaveyou. Like Yoda, for instance.

For this particular piece of Fan Art, I do know the Artist in question and that is someone calling themselves Gilly H. I know other fans will probably like this one, but the "wolves" here are so fat and friendly-looking, they're just like yard dogs, to me. Also the moon seems to have gotten squashed, slightly. As well, the expression, plus the pose Chakotay is in, are a little too effeminate for my tastes, so all of these combined flaws tend to amuse. But Gilly H did a digital painting of Chakotay in a modern day suit and tie, which was pretty good. I'll try to find that one. In the meantime ...

It's not the muppets, it's Alf. A show from many years ago about an alien...he liked to eat cats

Oh, I thought that Chakotay was well know as the "Angry Warrior", not Lobo, "king of Wolves"!

allegedly the wolf is his spirit guide. He refused to say in episode.
In some shitty-assed STAR TREK: VOY novel, an fan fiction wirter, turned author, specified that Chakotay's Animal Spirit Guide is a snake.

I get wanting to do something different than a wolf. It's always a wolf, isn't it? But going with a snake was a really suck-off idea and they should've just left it alone. You know? Don't even go there ... leave it to fan's imaginations, so that it's whatever they want it to be.

Janeway is a gecko, so why not snake? I personally would have imagined something different for her too, a fox maybe or a honey badger.
But let us please agree that Kirk's would be a boar/wild hog:rommie:
