Universal Studios Fan Fest Night with the original PIC D bridge

NCC-73515

Vice Admiral
Admiral

Interesting bits:

Guests will find themselves transported to the year 2403, just as an otherworldly entity wreaks havoc on the ship. As the chaos ensues, guests will venture further into the Enterprise, navigating familiar Star Trek environments, from the ship’s engineering room to transporter pads, to the soul of the Starship Enterprise, the bridge—an original set piece featured in the third and final season of Star Trek: Picard—in a desperate quest to stop the perceived danger and restore peace aboard the ship.

a mysterious entity will start wreaking havoc, whisking you all the way through iconic TNG environments like the Enterprise‘s shuttle bay and sickbay

I wonder how their engineering, shuttlebay, and sickbay will look, since only the bridge was built for PIC.

There's also a BTTF event and a few others!

Already booked my ticket!
I thought you hate PIC S3 :p
When are you going? I don't know yet when I can. But it seems to be much cheaper than I expected, unless the lines are so long that the cheap tickets won't even get you to the events :D

I’m there for the set design, haha.

I went with one of the early dates. I figured the further into May, the busier it’ll probably get with the school year ending.

Maybe those of us who are going can meet in real life for a change :D
It doesn't say how long they're open, only that it starts at 7 pm.
I don't wanna wait >1 h in a line and then be literally OUTATIME for BTTF...

A few people were led through the Trek part and others this week, and the pictures are kinda disappointing... :(

A type 10 Chaffee type to walk through

An ok corridor leading to a minimalistic "sickbay"

Then on to "engineering" - the table is fine, the walls are not, especially that MSMD and that ridiculous mini warp core :D

Finally the "real" bridge from PIC S3 (the whole story is about visiting the D in the fleet museum!), which however is not screen accurate for whatever reason (white circles show the obvious oddity)

These make me kinda glad I haven't booked yet
At least I won't worry about seeing it more than once, I guess, and I don't have to worry about getting home at 2 am :D

TrekCore said the tactical arch wasn't even installed yet when they visited as part of the press tour. That could just be a mockup photo. Those people in the back I don't even think are on the set, the lighting on them doesn't match,

Without question, the newly reconstructed bridge was a site to behold on the Universal lot, especially after seeing it in all its glory on screen at the conclusion of the third season of Star Trek: Picard. Those LCARS that shined so bright and popped along the back wall in its onscreen reintroduction in 2023?

They looked just as sharp and clean here at the Fan Fest Nights location — even though a few finishing touches (like Worf’s tactical horseshoe) were still waiting to be installed during our early-bird visit.
