This week's contest is devoted to cats: anything that looks like a cat, is a depiction of a cat-like creature, a being trapped in a cat form, popular media depictions of cats in print, film, products--cats of all kinds. It can be cartoon cats, Sanrio cats, cats in movies and TV shows, cats in comic strips--basically, cats from any kind of media (including scifi and fantasy). Some examples: The Aristocats, Hello Kitty, Pusheen the Cat, Aslan, Simba, Garfield, Hobbes, Pyewacket, cats from the Exploding Kittens game, Harry & Tonto, people who turn into cats in "Cat People" (in cat form), zombie cats, Shiva in The Walking Dead, etc. Pretty much any kind of cat.

Standard av rules apply: 200 x 200 pixels max, 1 MB max and work-safe (for those thinking of a Fritz the Cat entry).
I'll try to get the poll up next Saturday, the 30th. Let's start with one entry each; we can always change it later if needed.

Here's mine, going with the obvious:
Goose, from Captain Marvel--
the Flerken, who happens to look exactly like a cat.

Great idea for a contest! :D

I'll eschew the obvious pick, and go instead with:

- Orion, from Men in Black

Goose, from Captain Marvel

I probably shouldn't admit this, but... I haven't seen the film, but then I probably won't, since superheroes aren't really my thing. So I read your spoiler anyway... and TBH I don't understand what you are saying, or what exactly I have just spoiled!

Hard to narrow it down to just one.

Clip from the cat walking around in the old "Tucker's Witch" series (it's okay, nothing special):

Specially notable is the catchy orchestral theme by Brad Fiedel, otherwise known for his synth scores.
