TV&M Avatar Contest: Discount Lightsabers

Hi all. Been forever and a day since I won one of these contests. Thanks all for the vote. Not so much for me, but it's nice to see even after all this time and his death, there is still love for McGoohan. And it was no small thing, as the competition included our favorite F.B.I. agent Culp, an Chato himself, Ricardo (who came in second place in the voting).

To quote McGoohan in "The Prisoner": Everybody votes for a dictator... ;-)


So, this month's contest is what I sub "discount lightsabers", i.e.: Non science fiction shows and films where somebody is holding a lightsaber looking weapon (a toy, Halloween, a dream, etc.). No props or toys that are actual lightsabers, as in from Star Wars. One blade or more. There were a couple of Star Wars-themed contests I was hoping to do in May ("May the fourth be with you" May 4th national Star Wars day), but I didn't win anything, so now I am making it half up.

If you aren't sure if it qualifies or it's a grey area, just ask. :-)

Contest Rules:

• Avatars must be no bigger than 200px by 200px.
• No hotlinking. That is: linking directly yo an image on another website. Use a free image hosting provider, like postimages.org (which also lets you set how long the image is hosted, then deletes it)
• No more than two entries per person. I suspect there isn't a shit-ton of discount lightsabers out there.
• This contest is open until July 13 (date may move around a smidge depending on work). That's less than a month.

Question: Maybe I read the above contest rule wrong, and I hate to be that guy, but I interpreted the contest as a no SF/F one, which arguably includes SF/F comedies. In fact, I debated the Cocknocker entry but decided it was okay as it was a prop in a movie within a movie. I ask because if SF/F comedies are allowed I might enter some things I wouldn’t otherwise.

^That wasn't in the actual movie, though. It was just regular canes. The lightsaber effect was added for the meme.
Also, the movie was Dumb and Dumber. Dumb and Dumberer was the horrible non-Farrelly Bros. prequel.

I only specified science fiction as being out. On that link I gave, Spaceballs appears to be the only science fiction film in the list. And I gave that one a get out of jail for free card.
