Tru Blood - It's real now!

Hey True Blood fans. Now you can get your hands on your own bottle of Tru Blood, as seen in the show. Minus the bloody taste, that is.

It's coming out in September, and is described as:

The blood-orange carbonated drink has a slightly tart and lightly sweet flavor that is sure to taste better than the O negative blood consumed by the show's fictional vampires.

There's no alcohol, though the HBO page for the drink describes three drinks that can mix Tru Blood with alcohol, if that's your thing.

The bottles are supposedly identical to those used on the series, with HBO saying:

Meticulously crafted, the Tru Blood Drink is an exact replica of the bottle design as seen on True Blood. The 14oz glass Tru Blood bottle is stained in a rich red, with raised Tru Blood English lettering and matching Japanese Kanji.

They're expensive, though ... A pack of four bottles is sixteen dollars. I already have three co-workers who are going in with me, and we're each getting a bottle.

You knew it would happen sooner or later. Now we just have to wait for September, and we can have our own Tru Blood.

^ lol you're right. But if they did it that way, they couldn't (legally) sell it. And this looks like it's going to be an insanely huge money-maker for HBO.

It's not very expensive when you think one bottle in the show costs you more than 40 dollars (or was it 14? Now you make me doubt)
