Triumph of the Spirit and FEMA camps

I was watching Rambo On Demand when it froze up. So I flip a few channels and there is a Willam Dafoe movie on. It is called Triumph of the Spirit. It was made in 1989. Edward James Olmos is in it too. Dafoe ends up in a concentration camp. Olmos is some sort of supervisor guy in a black coat with a yellow armband. There is a red stripe down the spine of the coat. Him and this other guy whip the prisoners into working.

What was disturbing was the first scene I saw. They unload all these Jews at a concentration camp. One woman protests that her mother is sick. She is told she will get health care, but first they must go to the showers. Guards are shown pouring Zyklon gas pellets into the top of a box above the shower. The two Nazi officers get a laugh at the lie they told about the showers. There is a chimney from a furnace behind them in the background.

It reminds me of film I saw of a FEMA camp in Indiana. There is a large fenced area with train tracks going inside. There is a building by the tracks with no windows. Connected to this building there are some sort of chimneys for a furnace. There was just a story floating around about quarintines and relocation over the swine flu. They are really pushing the swine flu thing. The White House was saying the swine flu would kill 90,000 people. Later, the CDC said that was exaggeration.

It just worries me that back before WWII, many of the rich industrialists and Rockefeller types were all excited about eugenics. Prescott Bush was really in tight with the Nazis. There is this weird thing that all these big shots keep pushing about lowering the population by 90%. It is on the Georgia Guidestones. You hear it discussed by guys like Dr.Lizard when he won some big award in Texas. Obama's science czar is big on lowering the population with things like sterilization in books such as The Population Bomb. I'm just worried that the whole swine flu hysteria is part of their plan rather than a natural event.

Edit: Dr.Lizard is Dr. Eric R. Pianka-University of Texas.

Sounds like tinfoil hat stuff.

And regarding Prescott Bush, the Anti-Defamation League released the following statement in 2003:

"Rumors about the alleged Nazi 'ties' of the late Prescott Bush ... have circulated widely through the internet in recent years. These charges are untenable and politically motivated. Despite some early financial dealings between Prescott Bush and a Nazi industrialist named Fritz Thyssen (who was arrested by the Nazi regime in 1938 and imprisoned during the war), Prescott Bush was neither a Nazi nor a Nazi sympathizer."

EJO was in a Holocaust flick? I checked it on Netflix, doesn't sound worth a rental but it's still interesting to know.

See, despite yourself, you posted something fleetingly useful! :bolian:

FEMA camp = concentration camp?

Please. Concentration camp has, at least in america, become a euphemism for death camp.

FEMA does create refugee camps, I've seen these camps in florida, and the good work FEMA folk do.

Didn't know that either. Nor did I know he'd been in a re-make of The Taking of Pellham 123 until I stumbled across it on the tube the other night. Although the channel kept calling him James Edward Olmos...
