Trek Author Mike W. Barr Needs Help

Just an FYI to anyone who hasn't heard: Mike W. Barr, writer of the early issues of DC's 1980s Star Trek comic, the odd issue of Marvel's 1980 series, Chapter 2 of Mere Anarchy, as well as the 2003 novel Gemini, is in dire straits right now due to a series of medical and financial difficulties. There's a GoFundMe raising money for his treatment, and it's still short of its goal. Please contribute if you can. If you can't, please signal boost on social media.

Unfortunately, we are not allowed to post links to fundraising sites, no matter how good the cause may be. As such, I have removed the link from your post, and removed the reference to the fundraising site from the thread title. Sorry. Now that people know it exists, they should at least be able to find it on their own.

If you wish to put a link to the GoFundMe in your signature, that is generally OK.
