Tom Hardy Is An Great Actor Or "Why Shinzon Shouldve Been Bronson"

I honestly forgot about Tom Hardy after Nemesis.

Then I heard a few months ago about a new movie he was going to be in called Bronson, a low-budget indy English flick. The trailer was so cool, I watched it.

TH was amazing. I can't help but imagine what Nemesis would've been like if Hardy had played Shinzon the way he played Charlie Bronson in this film. Patrick Stewart would've been forced to step his game up and the results might've been epic.

Here's a trailer link:

Well, word is after he bombed in Nemesis he went into a downwards drug spiral and lost his family...

Those kind of experiences will give any actor some depth to draw from in the future...

Perhaps he's improved, glad to hear he's a bit more on top of things these days at the very least working. Here's hoping he gets his family back.

NEM has a lot of issues, but I thought Hardy's acting ability was one of them. I thought the main actors were up to par (even if the script wasn't), but Hardy looked bad when you stacked him up to Stewart and Spiner.

Maybe he HAS gotten better over the years, but I haven't cared enough to check him out, really.

Let's not forget that good actors can be wrecked by bad directors, who give them bad advice, and can then pick takes that are not their best work.

^ I agree. I think the editor turned director-for-the-first time played a major role in fucking up Nemesis.
