Hi Folks.
I wish to find 3D figures, specifically of generic TNG crew members, not necessarily the famous ones, and in 1:72 scale. I appreciate that they don't exist, and if I had something similar to start with, I would enjoy making the mods to get them there.
I wish to create a 1:72 scale styrene TNG diorama of the shuttlecraft hangars 2 and 3.
What would make a good foundation figure to create a TNG-styled uniform? A character in mechanics' coveralls? A jumpsuit? Unpressurised flight suit? One-piece underwear? Acrobat? I would then add some apoxie sculpt, or something similar, to make the foundation model better resemble a TNG uniform.
1:72 scale would limit the details I could achieve, as 1" = 6 feet. So, the figures I need would be 1" tall.
Perhaps the railroad model HO scale (1:87) would provide adequate figures for a 1:72 scale Star Trek diorama?
I've checked the usual suspects (CG Trader, Shapeways, Gambody, ETSY, TEMU, Cults 3D, Preiser, Bachmann, Cozmic Scale Models, Italeri, Tamiya, Hasegawa, Airfix, Zvezda, etc., etc.) without success.
I need your help to find 3D files of male/female characters sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, going up/down stairs, holding a tray/tool, etc. Your opinions and suggestions are welcomed.
Thanks kindly,
Dan
