Things Lower Decks should bring back

Safe answer: The Curry class as an example of a previous generation of second contact utility cruiser

Risky answer: Scott Bakula as Future Guy trying to chase a lead about proper time travel technology due to Boimlers casually written holomovie about a "Chronogami".

Chaos answer: TAS, show what it would look like if they remastered an episode of TAS under the guise of a homage to episodes like troubles and tribulations. Make sure to render the TAS characters in the TAS art style (they've been doing it as stills already whenever those old scientists are brought up in the logs). This will then raise an endless debate about whether a TAS-R should be a thing to go with TOS-R

New characters for Lower Decks voiced by frequent Trek vets like Rick Worthy, Brian Thompson, Suzie Plakson among others.

Nobody seems to be in any particular hurry to bring back Trek vets. :sigh: Jeffrey Combs has only been back once (as AGIMUS) and Vaughn Armstrong hasn't been in Trek since ENT (IAMD II is his most recent appearance)!

That last one really hurts, since Armstrong is my favorite actor and he's done so much for Trek. To not ask him back seems like they're deliberately shunning him. He's played, what, 14 different characters? He could play 14 more!

LD could use more holodeck related references.

- Giuseppina Pentangeli (she’s a contemporary of Archer’s, right?)
- Vic Fontaine songs I know James Darren did release an album of songs. Maybe one of the songs is a soundtrack to an episode)
- Temple of T’Panit & The Chants of the Monks of T’Panit
- Chez Sandrine
- Paxau Resort & the volleyball gold medalists
- Bourbon Street Bar and Minuet
- Café des Artistes
- Altonian brain teaser
- Kayaking
- Viking holoprogram the Battle of Clontarf
- Holoprogram of the Battle of Thermopylae
- Double feature movie night featuring Dixon Hill and the Black Orchid and It Came From Beneath the Refrigerator

Sort of hoping for a reciprocation of the SNW crossover with Pike's crew showing up animated in Lower Decks. Either as part of another massive holodeck adventure, time travel shenanigans, or something simple like Pella and Spock from the present day running into crew and Spock especially having a reaction (Nimoy era Spock who would be trying to work to solve the pending Supernova crisis for the Romulans...could use a day off recounting Pike and his crew with Boimler).

Or have it actually be Una's voice as the Computer of an older ship.

I can't see Boimler willingly doing anything casually at the moment. Including holomovie scripts. That guy is going to research the daylights out of whatever he writes beforehand. He'll make Robert J. Sawyer look lazy about such things.

Assuming Pelia is still around - never know if they'll kill her off.
