I really liked the first Suicide Squad, I absolutely love Margot Robbie's Harley, and I'm a huge fan of a lot of the other actors, so for those reasons, this is one my most anticipated movies of the year.
I absolutely loved the trailer, looks like a perfect mix of humor and action. Also, I just have to say holy shit Starro! I had not heard anything about him being in this, so seeing him in the trailer was a huge shock.

As a HBOMax subscriber, I know where I'll be on August 6th.... watching this in my living room with a beer in my hand! ;)

Yeah, watching this will definitely be my #1 priority on Aug. 6.

That trailer was glorious! So much cool stuff, I really like the cast interactions, and

FUCKING STARRO!!!

I'm really hyped for this. I haven't been this excited for a DC movie in years, and it might actually be my most hyped comicbook film for this year, even over the MCU stuff (and I'm really excited for those).

Not gonna lie, that trailer left me cold. The shark and giant starfish? There's none of the atmosphere of the first one (which I loved) and it just looks like they're trying really hard to be quirky.

John Cena's gonna be great in it though. And the cast is awesome. But... eh.

I can see where you're coming from with the atmosphere and some of it seems a bit on the nose. I'm looking forward to it but it will likely be a bit of a different beast.

It's definitely a reboot, and they deinitely decided to go ultra quirky with all Harley appearances. I am guessing the first movie won't even be referenced, nor will the Emancipation.

I doubt they'll purposefully contradict the first one, but yeah, I'm not really expecting any direct references to it.

Very cool.
I love that the tagline is "Don't get attached". James Gunn has said that he was not forbidden from killing any of the characters, so everybody is fair game.

Except to take the piss out of it. The bit in the trailer with Weasel licking the window of his cell is a direct parody of the bit in the first Suicide Squad where Harley suggestively licks the bars of her cage.

I’ll pretty much only be watching for Harley, and Nathan Fillion. It’ll be interesting to see Taika Waititi’s cameo because I loved him in Thor: Ragnorok!
