The Most Disliked Episode of LDS, 2023 Edition - Season 2...

Farscape One

Welcome to our bi-yearly 'Most Disliked Episode' games! Now that the 'Least Disliked Episode' games hosted by BlueStuff (who inspired me to create these games, so thank you very much for paving the way) have concluded, we can begin the opposite side of that coin.

Here's the game. The basic idea is your standard elimination game. I'll provide a list of the episodes for each season and you need to eliminate your most favorite or the one you deem the 'best.' Please provide an EXPLANATION for why you are eliminating your choice and be sure to copy and paste the list with your choice removed. Finally, leave at least 2 eliminations by other posters before you eliminate another episode.

No tactical voting! You cannot remove an episode because you feel they would threaten your preferred episode's chance to win. Pretty simple. Enjoy!

Another strong season for LOWER DECKS. There were a lot of great ones here... we get a recurring Tamarian, the return of the awesome Jeffrey Combs to the franchise, and even Sonya Gomez came back! A lot of awesomeness to pick from, but my first save will be what I think is one of THE best episodes of the entire current era... "wej Duj".

The concept of LOWER DECKS is already excellent enough. But we get an episode with THREE MORE ships using the same concept? Genius!!!

The Klingons, Vulcans, and the Borg... from the perspective of their junior officers. This entire episode was just pure gold pressed latinum.

And most importantly, T'Lyn made her debut, who makes such an incredible impression that she becomes part of the Cerritos' crew in season 4.

I think as the years go by, "wej Duj" will be looked upon as a franchise classic. And rightfully so.

I'll go with "The Spy Humongous" it's so stupid and daft that I can't help but love it.

"First First Contact" is an easy first save from me. LDS's season finales are always awesome, and this one managed to pack a lot in: Mariner & Jennifer (nice save, Jennifer!), Tendi & Rutherford (the Rubber Ducky Room!!), Kimolu & Matt (Cetacean Ops!!! :adore:), Boimler & Rutherford save the day, Sonya Gomez (USS Archimedes!), and so much more!

I still haven't finished season 2, but I'll save An Embarrassment of Dooplers. The humour just really landed for me - and they nailed the casting with Richard Kind.

"Kayshon, when he became a puppet", I mean: "Kayshon, His Eyes Open" for Kahless' fornication helmet and transporter cloned Boimler, as well as the puppetisation of poor Kayshon! And I did rather like that Tendi & Rutherford engineer the escape from the Collector's ship, and Boimler managed to remind the Titan bros of why they really joined Starfleet.

"Strange Energies"
"Mugato, Gumato"
