Hey kids, Connor Trinneer and Dominic Keating are premiering their new YouTube podcast on Sunday May 19!

It's The D-Con Chamber - D for Dom, C for Connor, with a nod to the gel-o-riffic Decon Chamber from Enterprise.
Welcome to the discussion thread for the show.

I've just caught the podcast today. Really liked that - a very affable hour of conversation - I missed Dom and Connor having a natter since Shuttlepod ended, and of course William Shatner is always interesting to listen to. Especially when he talks about his horses, or his trip into space, and how that made him feel. What an incredible life he has.

Looking forward to next week!!

I watched the interview and really liked it alot. I enjoyed listening to William Shatner talking about how he got involved in staring his charity horse show fund raising to help kids and Military veterans and his rtip to space. He's a really neat person. He's my favorite Captain from star Trek.

Yeah I really hope they get Scott Bakula on, he'd be a fantastic guest, and I'd love to hear a few behind-the-scenes Enterprise stories. Considering they've just interviewed Shatner though, makes me think that if Bakula is on the cards, it won't be for a while: They'll want to space out their really big guests a bit.

Dominic Keating said he wants to interview real life astronauts he met on a cruise to see the Solar eclipse in Mexico a few weeks ago. I checked twitter and Youtube notifications but so far it hasn't been updated yet.

The first episode was great. I like getting back to the basics with just Dom and Connor interviewing. No co-hosts, no trek quiz etc.

Don't think so but surely they have to get to Scott Bakula sometime.

I never realized how annoying the Trek Trivia bits were, until I realized the new show is markedly better by trivia's absence. Maybe Shatner is the consummate panel show guest by now, but overall it felt to me like the show is somehow both more relaxed yet more polished and professional. Don't get me wrong, I liked the Shuttlepod Show, but this D-Con version is already coming across as a really excellent podcast if they keep this first episode's energy up. Bravo gents!

Just tuned in for the Shatner interview. It never ceases to amaze me how Bill doesn't sound like a man in his 90's. It's like he hasn't aged at all since 1994.

I won't do spoilers, but listening him talk about the day he'd had just in the time between getting up and getting to the studio for the interview tired me out. Shatner has 50 years on me, and I'm not convinced I could keep up with him.

This might be a stupid question, but is this a YouTube only podcast? I can't find a listing for it in 'my podcast app of choice'.

Has there been any hint as to who this week's guest is going to be?
Next up is Terry Farrell. According to an email, future guests include Sonequa Martin-Green, Mary Chieffo, Andre Bormanis, and "more beloved Star Trek captains".
