The Carmichael Show.
Every episode they accidentally pick on a hot question in America, social matter that bothers ordinary people, and then they argue about it out round table amongst the family for 20 minutes, until every one is frustrated and no one is happy.
David Alan Grier is as amusingly racist and opinionated as Archie Bunker ever was, and Loretta Devine is a delight as always, but the show is written by/about the noob playing their son, the titular character Jerrod Carmichael, who acting wise might be the weak link, but if everyone's words coming out of their faces is what's on his mind, we'll give him a pass.
Very funny, socially edgy, no swears or nudity, half way through season 2 currently.
(Gutbusting lines from last nights episode.)
Loretta Devine "You know why Jesus was so nice to everyone?? ...Because he knew people were trying to kill him."
David Alan Grier "And all of that still didn't help Jesus. Makes you wonder: Maybe could'a been nicer?"
