In the interests of trying to add some actual content to this thread, I'll mention this story that I imagine most big Firefly fans are already aware of but some other people might not be.
Summer's first television appearance was on Angel, in a 2002 episode titled "Waiting in the Wings," utilizing her ballerina background for a non-speaking role as a ballerina.
I wouldn't really call that ballerina as I would dance. Splitting hairs I guess but not really ballerina, just dance.
Forgive me for my beers this evening. It was not ballet even if it had a ballet move or two it was just dance. My, that was lovely.
And yes, her Angel role was definitely a speaking part; I remember her using a Russian accent there.

Err, the dance form is ballet. A ballerina is a female ballet dancer.
And no, that wasn't exactly a formal ballet performance, but it had elements of ballet moves.

It's just like a writer to split hairs.![]()
