A group of lawless teens, exiled on a mining colony outside Federation space, discover a derelict Starfleet ship.

In the one-hour series premiere, Dal must gather an unlikely crew for their newfound ship if they are going to escape Tars Lamora, but the Diviner and his daughter Gwyn have other plans.https://memory-alpha.fandom.com/wiki/Lost_&_Found_(episode)

I don't know what to expect, but I saw the Clip that Paramount brought out today (I guess it was yesterday) and it was exciting. The villain kinda reminded me of Claw from Inspector Gadget, but that's neither here nor there.

Is this series just not attracting interest? We have a premiere of new Star Trek tonight and I feel like the excitement is kinda "blagh." I was seeing if there were any reviews and there really wasn't. There was an interview in Collider with Kate Mulgrew in which the interviewer said this is the first series created for kids (which is wrong since you had the animated series and a lot of fans got into TNG when they were really young, myself included)

I feel like this series is the one where people are not really all that excited for. I would have thought there would be some curiosity.

People probably don't know what to make of it.

Is that a marketing thing. I have noticed this series isn't really as marketed well as the other series. Discovery was the first trek back in close to a decade, Picard was obvious, and then there is lower Decks which seemed to be marketed decently. This series has Kate Mulgrew and it's a kids show but we really don't know much else.

It's intriguing to me but this day has left a sour taste. Maybe this weekend.

Can only speak from my perspective, but these may or may not be relevant to others:

1) It's marketed as a kids' show. I am far from a kid, and do not have any myself yet.

2) It's on Paramount + in Australia, and I'm not subscribing to that just for this show.

3) The concept and look just aren't that interesting to me.

This is the one where you are 40 years older than the target audience........

I really liked the music and I liked the visuals. I think this might have the best title sequence of any series, and the music was dramatic enough where I might come back the next week. When they said Kids show, I was kinda hoping for something maybe in the teenage demographic (Or maybe starting at 8 or 9 years old) like the 90s X-Men, Spiderman, or Batman. This was a lot younger than that and the dialog was kind of cringey at parts. Also when the Rock started to speak I kind of groaned a little bit, but it's a kids show. I wasn't sure I was going to be back for the next week, but the escape and the dramatic music and showing the title sequence earned the show another week from me. I'm kinda hoping this series is interesting, and like @mattman8907, I too am interested in the ship and the former crew.

I'm not sure how to grade this episode. I'm 37 years old and it's a Star Trek series. The 37 year old in me probably would give this episode a 4. I think maybe the 7 year old me would give this episode a 7 or an 8. I think when the poll opens I'm going to give it a 6
