Not sure if these have been posted here or not, but I just wanted to share some new images from the upcoming Star Trek Picard Countdown Comic issue #2!

Damn. The preview cuts off the exchange right in the middle of the argument. I want to see what sort of spin the Governor comes up with to say she's not being racist. I'm sure it'll be nice and twisted.

When TPTB said that Picard was going to be "relevant", they weren't kidding!

If the second issue is the same length as the first, that's about a third of it right there! I hope we get more than last time.

My guess would be yes.
For the digital price, I was a tad disappointed in the length as well.
I'll not be getting the next two.

It kinda seems like a mistake to have the third issue come out a week after the first episode. Sales will definitely be hurt a bit by doing this.

I think you have a point there. But, at the same time, maybe they figure if someone went out of their way to buy the first two issues, they'll want to see how the individual story turned out in the third. Maybe they'll end the second issue on some massive cliffhanger that make the reader think, "I can't wait to find out what happens next!" or "How is Picard going to get out of this?!" It's pretty common with comics, basically since forever.

What is the page length? I considered getting the first issue digitally but stopped at the $4.99 price tag.
There are 28 digital pages including the cover, the title page and three extra pics at the end, but it also has seven preview pages to a TNG comic called "Mirror Broken".

I guess I didn't realize at the time I ordered it that it would be broken down into three parts.

I often don't pay attention to the fine details when it comes to my Trek purchases, so it's my own fault for being disappointed.

:techman:

IDK how many pages printed comics have anymore, but don't they usually have ads?

As far as price, I stopped buying comics in the late 90's when the prices were like $2.50-$3, so $4.99 each now for a few digital issues without ads is OK.

Whilst I agree with the assessment that #3 likely has spoilers that they don’t want known till the first episode airs, but what is the point of having a COUNTDOWN comic then? Kinda defeats the purpose
