Star Track: The Next Hesitation a Star Trek Parody...

Hi everyone! I'm the director/editor/writer of a web series called Star Track. We just completed our latest episode entitled "The Search for Tremblay". Louis Philippe Tremblay is the captain of the show. You can find all the information you need and free downloads at our site!
Click here for Star Track Online
Here's a little back story on the show.
It all started off as a drunken joke 6 years ago. My friend Matt and I (he plays Captain Tremblay) decided to get the video camera out and shoot a cheesy episode of Star Trek in my basement. No props, no costumes, no story. It was god awful.
We showed it to a few people who thought it would be cool to get involved. We shot a few more, with minimal-very minimal, success. Over time, we just kept plugging away at it.
We went from using a beer bottle as the ship, to stealing ships from TNG. Then, like a quantum leap, we were blessed with serious fans of Star Trek and science fiction in general. We found a CGI artist who does incredible work for us. We started to build sets, and well, the rest is history! We usually come out with an episode every 2 months or so.

Let me know what you think! We produce all of the CG for the show too.

Welcome to the board cfauteux. I hope you enjoy your time here and thanks for sharing what you've done. :)

You might also consider posting that link in the pinned thread at the top of this forum.

I'm at work right now, but I'll check this out when I get home tonight.

just checked this out and im loving it, very good work, i love all the in jokes, esp the eyebrow work and evil tremblay! Ill definatly be keeping my ears open for more!

Thanks for watching! We have a new episode coming out in a week! I've been hard at work on it for a while now. Be sure to check it out!

Big news to announce! We're hard at work on our 21st episode, and we're anticipating an early to mid July release. Keep posted for a trailer and more news!

I'm uploading all the old episodes, but the reason I haven't put them up is because of the poor quality. The show was essentially a joke at first, and I don't want to alienate potential viewers by introducing them to crap. I'll put them in the Downloads page shorty. You aren't the first person to ask for wmv versions of these, and I think its about time to get them up there.

Sooper Dooper. I know a lot of people aren't proud of their early work -- heck the Hidden Frontier folks say "star at Season 6!" I don't care, I'm in it for the long haul.

Well, I started re-rendering the old episodes, and then I got obsessed with making them a little better. When I used to make them, I had nothing but a VCR and camcorder. Now I've got a sick rig and endless amounts of sound files and such. The downloads on my site will now be official "Directors Cut" versions. They'll be up by the weekend.

They're up! I've encoded the Flash Versions that stream off our awesome server, you'll notice that there's a full screen option. Some of the videos have downloadable WMV versions while others don't. I'll have the rest up soon. Let me know what you think of the terrible first 10 episodes!

Phew, just finished shooting the bridge scenes last night! Took 3 shoot dates to complete! This next episode is quite the undertaking, I'll post a link to pictures later on tonite!

Mssr Fauteaux, I'm unable to download anything from episode 8-13 using the link below the playback window -- it says the file isn't there...amazing you put them up so fast! Cannot wait for the new episode!

We also just launched a new site format. Check it out and let me know if there are any bugs! Hopefully its easier to navigate the site now!
