Okay, just finished watchin' the series finale for Stargate Atlantis...first I've watched it since it first aired awhile back.

Now, I've been watchin' the reruns of SGA on SyFy for weeks now, and I must have missed something, 'cause I gotta ask...

...who the fuck was that woman that came to get Ronon out of the infirmary to look at the Golden Gate Bridge?

I didn't know her. My girlfriend didn't recognize her either. I think she might have been operating the Atlantis computer console during the episode, but I think I must have missed an episode way back where he hooked up with her.

Amelia Banks

She's a tech on Atlantis who Ronan became romantically attracted to towards the end of the series. She had appeared in 10 episodes prior to the finale, 9 of which were in season 5.

Yep. Her first name was established in "The Shrine", and her last in "The Lost Tribe".

Her IMDB entry states that the actress has a blackbelt in karate kickboxing, so she should be more than a match for Ronon.

Ep. 5.14 has them both locked in a room and when escaping stumble upon a guard.. Ronon fights but loses at first at which point she intervenes and kicks the guards ass with some martial arts moves before Ronon can shoot him

I believe that's the first scene where Ronon notices her.. figures he won't fall for a "helpless" woman
