Chibnall's doing a fantastic job so far of keeping information locked down, so not sure how much activity this thead will see but we do now have multiple confirmations that the cast and crew have arrived in Cape Town, South Africa this week where they're going to be shooting for the rest of January.

Nicer than Cardiff in Winter certainly!

Unless they're doing location shooting for a couple of different episodes, you'd think it would have made more sense to go to the States instead.

Edit: Just realised that the sign in the first photo says "We cater to white trade only". Is that set dressing or do they still have those in South Africa today?

Set dressing- that's a very 50s car, so if it's set in the South...

At last, the Dr fixes the chameleon circuit and the Tardis changes into the period equivalent car which the Dr drives about in throughout thier adventures, works for me.

I'd hope so, largely because I'm struggling to think of a way of working aliens and/or monsters into the story of Rosa Parks and the Montgomery Bus Boycott.
