Loved her in Tommy as The Acid Queen and in Thunderdome. I have to watch Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band soon too.
I'm a collector of cheesy movies. The cheesier the better. I have SPLHCB on blu-ray, I just haven't got round to watching it.As one of the very few people in the world to have the misfortune of paying to see Sgt Pepper in the theater, I would suggest you not bother, especially if you're watching it for Ms. Turner. She has a very, very, minor (blink and you'll miss it) cameo in the closing number. That's it.
RIP Tina. You were truly the queen of rock and roll.
That movie crossed the line into casu martzu territory IMO, though I did enjoy some of the musical numbers.I'm a collector of cheesy movies. The cheesier the better.
It sadly burned the phrase "Don't rock the boat Lucy" into my brain. I can't listen to Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds with out that damn phrase creeping in.That movie crossed the line into casu martzu territory IMO, though I did enjoy some of the musical numbers.
Ugh. Thanks for reminding me of that. That's an earworm I haven't had to deal with since I was a teenager. It sadly burned the phrase "Don't rock the boat Lucy" into my brain. I can't listen to Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds with out that damn phrase creeping in.
