Well, the early episodes had a nice soundtrack at least. I liked the past stuff much more than the present. And other than zombies, it took 6 of 8 epsiodes for something recognisably Resident Evil to come up (although Lance reddick as Wesker in his proper getup... is just Blade!)

I think I was in a really charitable mood watching this as I didn't mind it and got onboard whatever weird YA vibes it had. I don't defend it as good and can see the faults and would probably change my tune should I watch it again so I'm happy to leave it back there.

Though having a character named Billie and opening with a Billie Eilish track was pushing it.

That had to be intentional, right? It was kind of odd because it didn't match with anything we had really seen in the show at that point.
