I know I don't have any links, but it is true:
Capcom is bringing the HD remaster to Resident Evil 0 (original version was a Ninendo GameCube exclusive, and then it got ports to the Wii in later years) to major systems next year (PS4, Xbox One, PC).
This comes hot on the heels of the success of the HD remaster of the Resident Evil remake that was also originally on the GameCube years ago (receiving ports for the Wii), and had come recently to PS4,PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360.
Capcom has further said that remasters are going to be part of a new business model for the Resident Evil line. Could that mean that we could be seeing overhauled, HD remakes of RE2, RE3, and RE Code Veronica X? I can only hope so. I have been wanting a high-caliber remake of Resident Evil 2 for years, and it's starting to sound more and more like a possibility. (Much the same as there is now going to be....finally... a full blown remake of Final Fantasy VII on PlayStation 4 by Squeenix).
There is a Japanese website for Biohazard 0 (Biohazard being the Japanese title for the Resident Evil series). Apparently they are having a contest of picking some DLC t-shirt outfits for the game's lead heroine, Rebecca Chambers (who is one of my two favorite RE hotties, the other being Claire Redfield).
Resident Evil 0 HD Remaster is set to release in early 2016. I hope we're still around by then.
