Possible ST Seven show plotline: Martian Colonial Remnant War

Allah Gold

It is the year 2402, the Enterprise-G is now back in service. We see a Daystrom synthetics lab, now teeming with life as opposed to the dust-collecting room as seen in PIC Season 1. Suddenly, an explosion practically destroys the lab, killing many researchers and making for some very distressing scenes. Searching the place, investigators find fragments of a plasma bomb, suggesting this was a terrorist attack.

Later, during the First Contact Day celebration, all subspace TV and radio channels are hijacked. A message starts playing, the speaker identifying himself as Fleet Admiral John Arvanis, of the Martian Colonial Remnants. Admiral Arvanis tells the galaxy that the Federation had abandoned Mars, much like they had abandoned the Romulans; and that when they came close to destroying the Synthetics, which they claimed was responsible for for Mars, they suddenly "backtracked and claimed the Romulan Empire had comitted suicide"; among other things.

Concluding his message, he announces that the Martian Colonial Remnants are declaring independence from the Federation, that the Martian Colonial Remnants claim right of vengeance over the entire Synthetic race, and that the Martian Colonial Remnant Fleet would embark on a crusade to "vindicate" Mars and Romulus, and those willing to join them would be welcomed as brothers-in-arms.

Picard and Seven hold some talks aboard the Enterprise-G in an attempt to convince Admiral Arvanis to not commit synth genocide, but every argument the Starfleet officers make falls on deaf ears, Arvanis is dead set on revenge for his homeworld.

The Lexington-class dreadnought MCRS Valles Marineris, Admiral Arvanis' command and flagship of the Martian Colonial Remant Fleet, soon makes its first move along with a few other MCR ships, attacking a reactivated synthetic production facility in a frontier system. Captain Seven and the Enterprise-G move to engage, but are unable to prevent the destruction of the facility, thus starts this story arc.

Unbeknowst to most people at first, the Zhat Vash and the Conclave of Eight are manipulating the Martian Colonial Remnants. Commodore Oh/Nadar has taken the counselor's chair aboard the Valles Marineris, using the Martian Colonial Remnants in order to continue the campaign against the synthetics.

Also: Lil and Kima from Children of Mars are back and fully grown up, Captain Lil is XO (First Officer) and Chief of Security aboard the MCRS Valles Marineris and one of Admiral Arvanis' most trusted and ruthless officers (though she doesn't really trust Oh), while Captain Kima is captain of her own ship, the Inquiry-class MCRS Schiaparelli. The duo have a sort-of feud going on between them.
