Pokemon Go Trainer Codes

Moderator: Apologies if this seems/is redundant to the other stickied gamertags etc thread. But Trainer codes / Friends is a new feature for Pokemon Go that they just added toward the end of last week, so I'm not sure if people here would think to look there for them. Feel free to merge this into that if you think that's more appropriate, though.

My Trainer name is QuickPikachu, and my Trainer Code is 8800 4705 1054
My wife who is also a member here (though admittedly pretty dormant) is TPrach, and her Trainer Code is 5711 0433 7040

We'd both welcome our TrekBBS friends. :)

I've gotten two friend requests that I'm pretty sure are from here (I haven't posted our trainer codes anywhere else), but I don't know which screen names here they correspond to. I went ahead and friended you, anyway, but y'all can't say howdy? :p

I go by DigitalKarp in game. Will shoot you requests shortly. If Pokemon Go will let me on. :p

Edit: it did! Just sent the requests.

So, hi! *waves*

What good are exchanging trainer codes if you never ever get near each other?
Is it just to be able to gift each other?
Yep. Which isn't a bad thing for rural and suburban players. And for anyone who is on a budget. I'm no fan of the distance for trading, myself. But oh well. At least gifting is there. And there's a chance to get stardust from trading and receiving gifts and it can be in the gifts themselves.

Added. BTW, another reason people friend each other on Pokemon Go at long distances is those sweet, sweet eggs in the gifts, which have a chance of containing region-specific Pokemon from the region they came from:

83 Farfetch'd Eastern Asia
115 Kangaskhan Australia
122 Mr. Mime Europe
128 Tauros North America (southern Canada, most of the continental U.S.A., parts of Mexico)
214 Heracross South America, Central America, Mexico, and southern Florida and Texas
222 Corsola Near the Equator (coastal and coast-adjacent areas)
324 Torkoal Western/South East Asia
335 Zangoose Europe, Asia, Australia (Migrates / switches regions with Seviper)
336 Seviper North America, South America, Africa (Migrates / switches regions with Zangoose)
337 Solrock Europe, Asia, and Australia
338 Lunatone North America, South America, and Africa
369 Relicanth New Zealand, Fiji, Vanuatu, New Caledonia
314 Illumise North America, South America, Africa
313 Volbeat Europe, Asia, Australia
357 Tropius Africa, Middle East

Well, I need one last friend for "A Ripple in Time", so I gave it a shot despite the thread being a bit old.. :p

I'm good at giving gifts, too.. ;) PerAkerman is my name, and yellow is my game

*instinct for life*

A really nice update... Pokemon Go is now compatible with Google Fit and Apple Health via Adventure Sync. Pokemon fans level 5 and up can be able to use it in game.

Here's some information about it and how it works: https://attackofthefanboy.com/guides/how-to-turn-adventure-sync-on-and-off-in-pokemon-go/

Really like it so far on my end, and I just make sure to keep both Pokemon Go and Google Fit off, so they're able to sync up any data.

Hi, just wanted to ask you, since I can’t contact T’Prach directly.
I am about to hit max friend level with her.
After she opens the latest gift, just one more needed.
I would like to coordinate that, so we both get a chance to use a lucky egg for an extra 100k xp
