Welcome to the voting thread for the 231st Trek BBS Fan Art Forum Challenge!

October tasked us to “do a pencil sketch, a scribble on a napkin, a rough rendering, a chalkboard doodle – show us the “genesis” of a Trek idea” and there’s six artists who have entered their sketches into the contest.

As usual, the winner will have the honor of wearing the golden “Fan Art Challenge Winner” badge on their profile for the following month and has the honor of hosting the next challenge.

As we like to do when we have more entries than usual: Please Vote FOR TWO!!!

A great set of entries this month, it was tough deciding who to vote for, I'm glad we had the option to vote for two.

Unfortunately, @Starscape I cannot accept. I only tossed in an entry because @Michael had suggested I would be good for it... I had no desire for victory or accolades. Due to things outside of my control, I am much too busy to take up the reigns of a challenge. I yield and transfer my victory to a better person, @Cyfa .
Congratulations my friend, you will be a better person than I in these endeavours.

Congratulations, @Atolm! I had a feeling your entry would take this home. Of course you’re getting that badge, that goes without saying. And don’t worry about starting the new thread, I will do that right now.

@Starscape and @everyone who cares about it, maybe another thing to streamline about the contest going forward? I wouldn’t want starting the new thread to be something that makes people shy away from entering their entries. And now we have that badge we at least have some concrete spoils for the winner already. So I wouldn’t mind sharing the posting of the new thread duties between the two of us, if you’re up to it.

@Michael, that is something I've considered suggesting in the past, but I've been wary of concentrating the organisation of the Challenge too much and possibly taking away some of the prestige of winning.

But as long as everyone one else is onboard with the idea and it's the two of us keeping an eye on things, I'm fine with that.
