[PLEASE HELP] How long does it take to get an overdraft approved?

I badly need some money

My student account has an optional 1000 pound overdraft, with no charges.

However, my BRANCH is in nottingham, and i now live in birmingham term time, so 2 questions, can i go into birmingham branch and get it approved there instead of my own branch

and how long will it take to go through, i can probably last 48 hours, but any more than that and i'm gonna be up **** creek without a paddle

I would think you should be able to, if it's the same bank, just a different branch...you'd have to ask them how long it would take, though, they'll be the ones to call your branch.
