Philip K. Dick's Electric Dreams Anthology TV series

Yeah, there's already a thread going on about this show, although it quickly died away. I watched the first episode already and loved it. I haven't had the chance to watch the following two yet.

Just finished episode 3 of this and it feels like the Twilight Zone, The Outer Limits. LOVE it. Don't know what it is but the UK seems to always make these great Sci-Fi one off stories. Black Mirror comes to mind as well.

I'm still confused how people are watching this if they haven't even announced a release date yet. Did it leak?

The first episode of this really stood out to me. Very Blade Runner. The actor who played Rob Stark on Game Of Thrones stars. It's obvious why they chose this as the premiere. Fantastic stuff.

This show is a creative flop. 7.5 on imdb for a show is VERY low. Time to get un-excited about this one unfortunately.

I think it's garbage. I had high hopes, but there's too much on TV for me to suffer through this. I think it's even worse than Room 104. Black Mirror set the bar pretty high for the modern anthology.

In Canada, this premieres on Space on November 12.
That maybe postponed. IIRC, it was supposed to take over Discovery's timeslot since their midseason finale was planned for November 5. But then CBS just announced late last week that they were adding another episode before Discovery went on midseason hiatus, meaning they will have the midseason finale November 12 now. I watch a lot of Space, and I have noted they've stopped having commercials for Electric Dreams since CBS made that announcement.

That's odd... I saw the ad mentioning that date while watching Discovery on Space this past Sunday!

You may be right, but the announcement here says they're planning to air it at 10 ET, and Discovery currently airs at 8 ET with a replay at 11 ET. I guess we'll see in about a month! :)

Well, this show is hardly making waves, is it? Not a single post since its US release to Amazon Video. The AV Club and io9 both gave it a mere single/whole-season review, though at least Vulture and The Verge had the consideration to rank them. (Seriously, whole-season reviews are one thing for uber-serialized shows where each episode is at least heavily stylistically tied to the next, but it sucks for anthology shows with few to no recurring characters or storylines.) Myself, I haven't had occasion to sample it yet...

ETA: io9 has now posted a ranking.
