On Archer last night his mother was nagging him and he wants to get away from the conversation as politely as possible...

"Mother! Mnother! The Stargate! The Stargate is Closing!"

She ignores him.

"Mother! The Chevrons! The Stargate! It's spinning! The Chevrons! ...Gotta bail."

Later one of the secretaries had a drug over dose and thought a Decepticon was trying to do her, but it was only a homosexual in a wheel chair, so that seems unlikely.

Yes, it's one of those sorts of Cartoons.

Archer is such a big nerd.

Yknow, the whole Archer approach to comedy could work fantastically well in a spoofy space opera. Somebody needs to get working on that. I would watch the frak out of an Archer-style space opera. Like Futurama, but in space and more pointed.

FX might be leary of that, since their space opera comedy, Boldy Going Nowhere, went exactly where the title of the show promised. But I'd love to see it.

At least we're getting new Red Dwarf shortly. Hopefully it turns out for the best.

I like a Stargate mention but too bad they got it wrong, if the Stargate closes the chevrons would already been in place.

Oh man, they missed a chance at a good joke! Cyril should have "corrected" Archer about the chevrons, everyone stares at Cyril with that usual what-a-freak look, and then the story movies on from there...
