Here's my entry, from my "Contemplative Silence" Kelvinverse series.

How's everybody else coming with their stories so far?
Prime Directive (breaking, upgholding, and bending), Article 14, Section 31 of the Starfleet Charter, Lefler's Laws, the Rules of Acquisition, the Temporal Accord, and so on. Running afoul of a planet's laws.
Scientific rules, things like Murphy's Law, the laws of physics, etc.
Mine is (without giving too much away) about breaking the rules of a social club.
Come to think of it, one of my "Everything Happens to Me" stories (Jailbreak) is about breaking rules, too.

I look forward to reading the entries. There's always a risk that a theme can be too esoteric to inspire. Most of my entries have been stories I wrote in the past.
Sooo, two weeks left in the contest - is anybody working on anything? Would an extension of the deadline help?

I finally have an idea of a late 24th Century Starfleet Captain violating the Prime Directive on a pre-warp world similar to late 20th Century Earth by attempting to be a superhero, but I'm not certain I'll be able to pull it off in time (given that I'm usually a 'slow burn' writer).
Realized my current fic fits the criteria, but i don't feel the quality is there given how many typos exist.
Two entries so far but it sounds like some people are unsure if they can make the deadline. I'm open to extending it a few days if that helps. Just let me know here in the thread.
