Well one of the high ups said they're aiming to have all the Fed ships from Season 1 at some point.

They won't all be in at launch though.

Well, "Age of Discovery" will be a piecemeal expansion in that they PLAN to release all the content that would make it akin to one of their more recent expansions (like "Agent Of Yesterday" or "Victory Is Life"<--- Which I still think were light on content compared to "Legacy of Romulus" or the ST: V expansion whose name I forget ); bit they didn't want to wait a year to make all the content (and because ST: D is still getting new episodes) they want to and will release new AoD content as it is ready to go, on the fly.

One dev said they plan on having all the ships seen in the first 2 episodes in the game at some point.

Installed it for the third time to have a go at the Discovery update.

While I waited, I checked out the forums and reviews - and was met with a bunch of people whining about "STD", "SJWs" and the like.

Sigh. I can see this being as unsuccessful as the last two attempts if I have to hear anything from these sort of people in-game.

Ok so i gave this a go, but is it only 3 missions then back to griding through all the old ones?

Plus nice to see ancient bugs like leveling issues back in the game, i went into the last episode were you have to defend the base and all the ships were 30 levels above me, that was fun. lol

I now pretty much ignore people on their forum. I'm quite happy with the Walker Starter pack. That ship is fun to fly. But after taking a break from the game for a few months, been fun playing the game again. I think with my new discovery toon, she won't get used much as I'm waiting for the upgrade weekend to happen.

Also, the random TFO is pretty awesome. Done a few TFOs that I normally wouldn't do in the last few days. Shall pick another of my 15 toons to do some catchup missions tomorrow.
