Taking up a suggestion by @auntiehill , this time the theme is "Annoying Things". We all have them in our lives (unfortunately), there's so many of them (which is annoying in itself), so there should be enough for a variety of entries.

Of course, usual rules apply. Also, no media.

So, get those entries in, or I shall be very annoyed!

Of course I could do better ... but the avatar would have that trauma like effect as well ---- annoying to me but really down right === insanely annoying to everyone else... similar to the finger nails and the chalk board situations...just mentioning it I can feel my fingers slide down a chalk board ==== zzzzmmmm...aaazzz..mm

below in this image there is .... a C where there should be an O above the line in the seventh column and fourth row is --- backward... but you knew that if you are keeping the score... ====

for my entry I will try to simulate the above "idea" in gimp --- maybe with the pattern creation system of images..
btw the really real reason I am posting is to get an idea of when this image needs to be made by?

The selfie stick. Or as I call them: either a douchestick or douchebag stick. I wrote a whole "South Park" fan fiction about it at fanfiction.net

^ why not just do a simple Google Image search for people using a selfie stick? That way you can get a better idea of the idea without using a commercial? If you didn't explain it, I'd never know that was what you were trying to get across.

Gotta agree with @auntiehill here. I'm not gonna make you change your entry, if this is really the one you want to use, but I'd say you can find a lot of better images to use which are not only real but feature the selfie stick more prominently.

I did explain it though. And it's from the back of a Corn Pops cereal box that some stupid idiots complained about being racist in October; I thought people would recognize the image, even cropped.

Well, I guess it doesn't matter anyway. Even when I use better images, I lose, plus I'm okay with loosing since I really don't like to do one of avatar contests but once a year or more. Me loosing this contest is as easy to predict as the idiot dying in a fiery rocket crash that plays to take off in a rocket to find out whether the Earth is flat. Just sayin'!

Dude, nobody wants to actually win these contests and then have to be responsible for the next one. I think I've made it pretty clear how hard it can be to come up with a new theme. The true challenge is to have an entry that fits the theme, satisfies you personally, isn't popular enough to win, but popular enough to be in the running.

Ok,.. so I have from the end of summer an image of a grasshopper sitting right on my monitor,..heck I took 2-300 images and a video,..actually 2 videos. Like here is my computer bug.

Just to check, the intended topic is more the little minor annoyances that can get on your nerves, but really aren't an issue in the grand scheme of things, right? As opposed to things that are serious and legitimately make you angry?

Suggestions for other avatars:
Dripping faucets (almost did that one myself), people on their cellphones at the movies (or anywhere, for that matter), traffic, No Parking signs, waiting in long lines, crowds,when someone leaves the empty roll on the toilet paper holder, computer updates that take forever, etc.
