February 29... it only comes around once every four years (except when it's eight!), so how could I not use it as a basis for a contest! 
So for this Leap Day theme, your entry can be any image depicting a leap (or a jump, hop, etc.), whether it be person, animal, vehicle, or whatever! But we'll take all kinds of leaps... if you want to enter an image of a "leap of faith", or a "quantum leap" (not the show!) or whatever, that's fine too. But wait, there's more! If you want to enter an image of something that happened on February 29, or a person who was born on February 29, we'll accept that too!
The standard avatar contest rules apply: images must be no more than 200 x 200 pixels and 1 MB, and they must be SFW. No media images are allowed, but as usual, I will make an exception for real-life things featured in news stories or documentary programs. Each entrant may enter up to three avatars. If it's not necessarily clear how your image ties into the theme, please provide a brief explanation/clarification. The contest will be open for about a week.
