I just watched Message in a Bottle, and I was blown away by Andy Dick's performance as the second medical hologram! And the two holograms made a big humorous adventure team!

I love this episode, one of my favorites from Season 4. The chemistry between Picardo and Andy was off the charts. It also has some of the best oneliners.

It really bothered me at the time that Voyager FINALLY makes contact with a Starfleet ship and... it's a comedy episode.

Great episode. One of the best Trek episodes. Like DS9's The Ascent.

Well the ending had more serious and hopeful tone to it, plus Pathfinder wasn't as comedy based

It had its moments, though. Such as Barclay naming his cat Neelix.

Agreed. When I first saw he was in it I cringed but he did ok
