Magic 8 Ball: The Movie

This just cracks me the frak up. :rommie:

Okay it's kinda easy to see how this could be a movie. A kid inherits a Magic 8 Ball from a rich, eccentric elderly relative. He thinks it's a stupid inheritance but TAH DAH! The Magic 8 Ball really does have all the answers. Kid gets into all kinds of trouble with this supposed godsend. Script writes itself.

So what other toys/games should be movies? Risk? Crayola? Hungry, Hungry Hippos? Play-Doh: The Revenge? Ouija Board is the one I'm waiting for!

"Ask again later?" "Fucking thing!" :shakes it violently: "Try again!" Ahhhh :throws it:

Pez Dispensers: The Movie. They'd be alien artifcats scattered around the globe containing within them "power pelets" that give ordinary teenagers super-powers to fight evil.

Think "Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers" meets "Captain Planet."

Mouse trap

a psychological thriller starring William Hurt and Ewan Mcgregor. The movie ends with Mcgregor jumping into a yellow pool and Hurt having a giant cage drop on him.

And there really are "Stretch Armstrong", "Battleship", "Monopoly" and "Viewmaster" films in development. WTF, Hollywood. They never learn. I have hope that we may get a good video game-based movie someday, but these are ridiculous. Endearing early scenes and fun performances aside, "Clue" was a stupid movie. It felt more like a game than a movie, and that's not a compliment.

"No matter how much you get rid of them... they always come back."

The Simpsons did a parody called Tic Tac Toe: The Movie. It was pretty funny.

I think Tim Burton should direct Candyland.

"In a world with three holes in the middle, only the strongest get through. Gnip Gnop: The Movie"

"She walks. She talks. She KILLS! Baby Alive: The Movie."

I was going to mention that!

"Tic-Tac-NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!"

A Magic 8-Ball movie would only work for me if it was a noir piece about a guy with a coke addiction.

I love Pez Dispensers. They're the only candy that actively rewards you for breaking someone's neck. Positive reinforcement for the win.

(And they blame violence on television for today's youths. Ha.)
