Love interests on Voyager...

Just thinking how funny it was that Tom originally had the hots for Kes, but ended up with someone quite the opposite of her, in B'Elanna. And B'Elanna had a thing for Chakotay early on, and ended up with someone the opposite of him, with Tom... :)

I'm glad Tom moved on from Kes. I honestly thought they could have been good together, but the Jealous Neelix story was annoying as hell.

But I really liked that Tom and B'Elanna ended up together. They made a good Star Trek couple.

Neelix always annoys me.

Yeah, Tom and B'Elanna made a great couple together indeed.
They're the most normal couple in Trek who stayed together -- at least, that I can think of at the moment; i.e., who didn't get killed off or split up, turned into light, etc.

It's not that surprising B'Elanna ended up with Tom.

Whenever B'Elanna got angry (which was often) she naturally wanted to commit all kinds of mayhem - scratching, clawing, biting, throwing large heavy objects at people. The only problem was that these had traditionally been signs of Klingon sexual arousal. So whenever something happened to get her really mad her hormones kicked into overdrive as well. Once, when she'd been confined to quarters for striking Lieutenant Carey, she'd chucked something at Chakotay the minute he walked through the door. Too late she'd remembered that this was a Klingon flirting ritual. So later on when an alien had tried taking over the ship by tapping into the crew's fantasies who does she imagine bonking? Chakotay! Not to mention how she'd ended up sharing her bed with the guy who used to annoy her the most, Tom Paris.

And if there was one person on board Voyager who managed to aggravate B'Elanna more than anyone else in the entire universe and all its parallel dimensions it was that cold, patronising, cybernetically-enhanced automaton, Seven of Nine...

That reminds me of the ugly plastic Locket Tom gave Kes for her Birthday. :rolleyes:I hope He never gave B'Elanna something so hidious.

Yes, Tom & B'Elanna were a good couple. Initially you wouldn't think so, because she was so volatile and he was so sarcastic. But it worked.

I kind of liked the brief fling Neelix had with that big, tall Klingon woman, Ch'Rega, who originally wanted Harry! Poor Harry couldn't even get laid by a big Klingon, geez!

B'Elanna and Tom make great couple, like very natural like real people.

It might be cool to see B'Elanna and Chakotay get together I think she had crush on him for long time.

Or if Janeway and Chakotay finaly get together

The one love interest I was never sure about is Harry Kim and Linnis in Before and After.

How exactly does that conversation go?
Harry: Tom... I've been meaning to talk to you.
Tom: Oh?
Harry: Yeah... I want to marry your daughter.
Tom: My daughter?
Harry: Yeah...
Tom: MY daughter? MY TWO YEAR OLD DAUGHTER?
Harry: About that...
Tom: What?
Harry: Did you know she was an early starter? Yellow crap all over her hands...
Tom: YOU SEXED MY TWO YEAR OLD DAUGHTER?!

It goes on... but yeah, even in the enlightened 24th century, you can't be happy about that :p

I always thought that the Doctor and Seven were very compatible with each other. In "Timeless" while the crew is celebrating their new slip-stream drive, Seven and the Doc walk by, Seven is hanging onto the Doc and states that "we are as one" Granted, she had one drink, but for a ex-drone one drink is probably enough to loosen up a bit...

B'Elanna was often tempted to be short on patience; but not with loved ones. She always kept hoping her dad would come around, and she was prepared to put up with a lot for Tom.

Luckily, Tom realized in time what a wonderful person B'Elanna was and what he had in her. Tom had never quite given up hope that he'd be welcomed back into a family one day either. They found that in each other.

B'Elanna did so many thoughtful things for Tom; that episode where she gave him a television -- complete with remote control, commercials, cartoons and popcorn -- was very nice.

I love B'Elanna, she was so lovely with Tom. That time she poured her heart out to Neelix about leaving Tom was a lovely moment for her...

Tom and B'Elanna were both a good match I though and in "Before and After" when Tom and Kes were married sort of reinstated that what if in a way for me.

But it would be freaky having your best buddy as you dad in law as well LOL

I love Voyager, however, there was never any other romance than Tom and B'elana. Kathrine never really could pursue any romance because of her command required her to romance Voyager only. Chakoty and Seska only lasted into season 2. We all know about Harry's romantic problems,
the wrong twin, Seven, Lindsey Ballard...ect. Tuvok was married and stayed true to his vows, even though he did use the holodeck to get past the his Pon-Far trial. The romance between Seven and Chakoty in the final seaon was very short lived. I still think that Seven and the Doc wold have been pretty cool. Even Tom commented on it, I don't recall the exact dialog, but he states to the Doc, when he suspects that there is more between them than just Teacher and Student. A Borg and an Hologram is not that weird, just look at me and B'elana.

I'm sure that there were some lower deck romances that took place, however between main characters only Tom and B'elana really had a chance to ignite the fires of passion...

There's a lot of 'love' going on in Voyager.

Firstly, Seska and Chakotay. Obviously. And then he finds out she's eeevil. Then you've got Chakotay and B'Elanna, only I'm not sure he liked her as much. But in the end, he loved Seven.

Then there's Harry. Falls in love with a hologram, Seven, and one of the 'twins'. Although, he is a bit afraid of Seven, and of course the 'hologram' thing isn't going to work, and the wrong twin likes him. Poor Harry.

And Tom. Tom likes B'Ellana now, but started with Kes. However, in between these two, he loved someone else....rather, someTHING else: Alice. That ship he finds.

Finally, the Doctor almost seems to like Kes toward the beginning, and then we find that he loves Seven. Until she basically tells him she doesn't need him. Poor guy. And then he has a holographic family, in which the daughter dies. I cried during that episode.

So...yes, lots of love in Voyager.

And I just watched that episode (name is alluding me) where Chakotay fell in lurve on a planet with that ex-borg in Season three (the bald one who wears a blonde wig).

He obviously has a thing for blonde ex-borg-babes...

Oh yeah the episode when we "joins" the collective to heal. I remember that one and the Dr still had a Borg arm.

Didn't half the ship fancy Seven?
