Sorry about the late review thread. I guess no one saw my post in the last thread stating that I would be out of town until now and that someone else should start the thread.

Anyways, here it is. I don't have time to watch the episode tonight, so I'll probably check it out sometime tomorrow.

Oh, and it turns out I was wrong about this being the season finale. There are more episodes after this, so it's likely Logan will have a proper send off.

I'm not sure I like the idea of this one. It was clearly inspired by Benazir Bhutto and her tragic assassination, so it seems in poor taste to have the Bhutto-like activist turn out to be the killer. It's also a thoroughly predictable plot twist, having it be the one you're supposed to expect least -- plus, really, you can usually tell who the killer is by who's the most prominent guest star, and Indira Varma was billed first here.

Also when we saw the montage of the funeral, the prison bus, and the gunman on the roof, it was really obvious that the real target was the guy on the prison bus rather than Bella Khan as we were supposed to think -- otherwise why include the shots of the bus at all?

I was hoping the already-dead brother would turn out to be alive and the mastermind behind it all, but oh well.

In the final CI episode, Profaci will gun down Logan with Cerreta's help.

This one just didn't hold my attention. Plus I figured it out about 2 thirds of the way through.

And damnit, there they go with the magic 'can you enhance the image?' software again! :scream:

I don't know, did they even need to enhance the image? All they did was review what was clearly visible on the tapes. In fact, that's one thing I forgot to mention I disliked about the episode -- that the mystery was solved by observing something that was in plain sight. Plus it's rather weak that something like her failure to flinch was treated as the final, conclusive clue rather than merely a cause for suspicion. It's just not strong enough to hold up in court.

I wasn't all that impressed by this episode either and was mostly (Logan and Wheeler are always great) carried by Indira Varma, who made me wish even more that her character on Torchwood hadn't ben killed off.

So why did Bella have her brother killed? Just to make her own cause look good?

I think it was to make sure he didn't get hold of the family inheritance and squander it on his business dealings, something like that.
